Hi {{first_name}}!

This week we’re covering several meaningful AI updates from Anthropic, Google, Apple, and OpenAI.

As we move deeper into January, we are seeing a massive shift toward "agentic" AI, tools that don't just talk, but actually take action on your behalf. From Claude managing files on your desktop to Google reimagining your entire Gmail inbox as a to-do list, the barrier between thinking and executing is disappearing.

This week we're covering:

  • New AI developments from Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic, including HIPAA-compliant healthcare updates and Apple's major Siri overhaul.

  • The Psychological Dossier, a unique way to use AI to build a strategic assessment of your own cognitive architecture and blind spots.

  • The AI Communication Plan, a free resource to help you introduce AI to your team responsibly without creating confusion or fear.

OK, let's get into it!

New and Noteworthy

  • Anthropic Debuts Cowork Mode: Claude can now read, edit, and manage folders and documents directly on your computer and take action in your Chrome browser via the Claude extension. It can make a plan, execute step-by-step, and check in with you before taking significant actions. This is available now for Claude Max subscribers on macOS.

  • Google Adds More AI to Your Gmail Inbox: Google is introducing an AI Inbox view that replaces the traditional email list with personalized to-dos and topic summaries, suggesting actions like rescheduling appointments or replying to contacts based on your emails. Rolling out first to trusted U.S. testers on consumer accounts (no Workspace support yet). All consumer Gmail users are getting free AI thread summaries and suggested replies, while Google One subscribers get advanced proofreading and AI search summaries. Gmail content won't be used to train their Gemini models.

  • OpenAI Announces ChatGPT Health: OpenAI launched ChatGPT Health, a dedicated, encrypted health experience inside ChatGPT that lets individuals securely connect medical records and wellness data for more personalized insights. It’s designed to help people understand test results, prepare for doctor visits, and navigate health information. If done well, my hope is that this will reduce admin friction on both sides and allow providers to spend more time on the uniquely human side of care.

  • Anthropic Launches Claude Healthcare with HIPAA Connectors: Anthropic rolled out Claude Healthcare, bringing HIPAA-compliant AI into real clinical workflows like prior authorizations, insurance appeals, and patient message triage. Access is fully opt-in, data isn’t used for model training, and users control what gets shared. The takeaway for business leaders: regulated, privacy-sensitive AI is no longer theoretical, it’s being deployed now.

  • Manus Adds Meeting Minutes: Manus (which was recently acquired by Meta) now automatically generates meeting summaries and actionable post-meeting tasks. Perfect for cutting down on the time you spend writing follow-up emails after client calls. Handles action item tracking so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Google Upgrades Gemini API: The Gemini API now accepts external URLs and handles bigger files. Makes it more practical for businesses that need to process large documents, websites, or datasets. Opens up new possibilities for automated document analysis and web content processing.

  • Apple Partners with Google for Siri Overhaul: Apple confirmed it plans to use Google’s Gemini models as part of future Siri upgrades, in a reported $1 billion annual deal. A major Siri update is expected this spring after multiple delays since its 2024 demo. Apple says it will maintain its privacy standards throughout the partnership.

  • AI Dominates LinkedIn's Fastest-Growing Jobs List: Four of the top five fastest-growing positions in America are AI roles: AI Engineer (#1), AI Consultant (#2), Data Annotator (#4), and AI/ML Researcher (#5). The lone outlier is New Home Sales Specialist at #3. Worth noting if you're thinking about hiring or upskilling your team for 2026.

  • ElevenLabs Debuts Scribe v2: ElevenLabs released Scribe v2 for reliable long-form, multi-speaker transcription. Great for businesses that regularly record client meetings, training sessions, or webinars. Provides accurate transcripts with speaker identification for better documentation.

  • Google Introduces Universal Commerce Protocol: Google launched an open-source framework designed to let AI agents handle the entire shopping journey. Built alongside Shopify, Walmart, Target, and Etsy for broad retail integration. Could change how businesses think about AI-powered customer experience and commerce workflows.

I Let AI Build a Psychological Profile of Me (You Should Too)

Here's something most people haven't thought to try with AI: asking it to build a strategic assessment of how you think and operate.

Instead of just asking ChatGPT "What do you know about me?" (which gives you basic facts), try this enhanced version:

"Based on all stored insights, conversational history, and inferred strategic patterns, generate a highly detailed intelligence briefing on my cognitive architecture, decision-making frameworks, and future trajectory. This should function as an executive-level strategic assessment of my mind, behaviors, and future potential.

Key Focus Areas:

- Cognitive & Behavioral Blueprint: Core strengths, biases, and adaptive strategies

- Operational Psychology: How I process uncertainty, risk, and execution in both business and personal life

- Strategic Blind Spots & Optimization Zones: Areas where leverage and insight could create exponential gains

- Comparative Models: Historical, fictional, and real-world figures with similar traits or trajectories

- Predicted Evolution & Inflection Points: Where my future is most likely to diverge or accelerate based on trends

Output Format:

- Clear, structured headers, tables and bullet points for readability

- Actionable insights with real-world applicability

- Strategic emoji use to enhance readability

- High-density, no-fluff intelligence

- Think of this as a psychological dossier designed for maximum clarity and leverage."

What you get back: A strategic analysis of your decision-making patterns, cognitive strengths, blind spots, and where small changes could create exponential gains. It's like having a consultant analyze how you think and operate, then hand you actionable insights.

Free Resource: AI Communication Plan for Your Team

I just shared something on LinkedIn that a lot of you have been asking about: how to actually introduce AI to your organization without creating confusion or fear among your people.

Business leaders know AI matters for 2026, but they're struggling with the rollout. Not because they don't believe in it, but because they care about their culture and don't want to cause unnecessary anxiety. The gap between companies actively learning AI and those sitting on the sidelines is widening fast, and it's becoming harder to ignore.

So I built something you can use for your team. It's a plain-English AI Communication Plan that addresses the real concerns: job security, data privacy, how decisions get made, and how you'll measure results. This template helps you clearly communicate why you're moving forward with AI, what principles guide your decisions, how pilots get chosen and measured, and how you'll train and listen along the way.

Here's what's included:

  • The core communication plan (ready to customize)

  • Step-by-step rollout guide for leadership teams

  • CEO announcement script for meetings or video

  • AI Initiative Feedback Form

  • 30/60/90-day success milestones

Feel free to grab the Communication Plan template here and use it with your team.

If you want the full package with all the supporting docs mentioned above, just reply to this email and I'll send them over. And if you end up using it, I'd genuinely love to hear what worked well and what you had to add or adjust for your specific situation.

That’s it for this week! Any takeaways you’re planning to implement?

See you next week,

Julien
